About Lillie Lee

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a P.H.D in healing my own traumas. I started my healing journey after my first divorce due to an abusive marriage. I blamed myself for his physical, verbal, sexual and emotional abuse. I had married someone who treated me the way I believed I deserved.

Many modalities and techniques that I have benefited from motivated me to learn them. I love learning new skills to support my work with people. In pursuing my learning I also experienced support for my own healing journey.

I grew up in a dysfunctional family which is the norm for most of us. It has taken some years of doing my own work to realize I grew up never feeling safe or secure. It took me 40 some years to realize I had been dissociated my whole life till then.

I have two auto-immune diseases which is where the body turns on itself (The Body Keeps The Score). My journey to heal Type I diabetes led to uncovering my incest history with my father starting at 3 months of age. This discovery helped me make more sense of choices I made in my life.

I can tell you it takes courage to work on yourself to claim more of who you are, to feel all your feelings (this is our aliveness), and learn to manage them productively most of the time. I know I am in the school room called life. I love the journey even when it is hard.

I love dancing, music, skiing, white water kayaking, gardening, adventuring to name a few.

My Corgi, Hannah and I would be honored to support you on your journey to claim you’re wholeness.

Lillie leads a Shammanic Druming Group meeting Quarterly in Frisco.
